How can I make a hotel reservation at the Mayflower Hotel?

All guest room reservations will be made by the logistics coordinator, Capital Meeting Planning. Therefore, please do not contact the hotel directly to make a reservation. When you register for the assembly, you will be asked to provide your arrival and departure dates.

Will the cost of my hotel reservation be paid for by the assembly host?

The cost of hotel accommodations for up to three (3) nights in a standard guest room will be paid for by the assembly host. Each participating country can have up to two (2) sponsored representatives. Any additional hotel room nights, upgrade requests, and incidentals are the responsibility of the guest. If a country chooses to send more than two (2) representatives, they are responsible for all expenses.

Will the cost of my airline reservation and local transportation be paid for by the assembly host.

All guests are responsible for making their travel reservations and covering the cost. However, the assembly host will arrange and pay for local transportation (i.e. car service) to take you from the airport to the hotel upon arrival and then from the hotel to the airport upon departure. Arrangements will be finalized once your travel reservation has been finalized.

Which airport is closest to the Mayflower Hotel?

We recommend that you arrange travel to Reagan National Airport (DCA) which is located approximately 5 miles (15 minutes) from the Mayflower Hotel. If flights through DCA are not an option, we suggest Dulles International Airport (IAD). However, Dulles is located approximately 25 miles (45 minutes) from the Mayflower Hotel.

Will Spanish/English interpretation be provided.

Yes, we will provide interpretation services for the CONCECADE meeting on Thursday, April 25, 2024, and for the CADE Assembly on Friday, April 26, 2024. However, the CID and CONSUDE meetings on April 25, 2024 will be exclusively in Spanish.

How to I obtain a letter of invitation to help me obtain a travel visa?

All attendees will receive a letter of invitation from the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP). Letters will be sent shortly after you submit your assembly registration.

Will there be an option to participate virtually?

We are not offering a virtual component. All meetings will take place in-person.
